Thanksgiving Outfit Ideas
Growing up, my favorite thing about the holidays was getting to dress up. Let's be real, it still is! There are several Christmases and Thanksgivings I remember spending most of the day changing my outfit, clothes everywhere, while my mom was busy cooking downstairs. I really enjoyed the act of it but sometimes it took so long because my 10-year-old self just couldn't decide between my collared black velvet dress or floral puffed sleeve one.
That said, I am so excited to put together outfit posts devoted to the season. With my Holiday Radio Pandora station currently playing and garland covering half of my room, I think I'm ready... Have already watched The Grinch twice, so there's that too.
Below are some outfit ideas for Thanksgiving (or Friendsgiving!), casual and formal depending on what you have planned!
Went for comfort on this one! Also have been seeing these frayed jeans everywhere for a while and have been dying to give them a go. The ruffles on the sweater and fray detail on the pant make the seemingly everyday look more fun. Plus, the embroidered bag is also a special touch to jazz up the look even more.
This one is probably my personal favorite because I LOVE this gold sequin dress. I looked for things that would fit the color theme of the holiday as well as add some sparkle. The bag, coat, and shoes are also pieces that are perfect staples you can use all year.
This outfit was actually inspired by something I saw one of my favorite fashion bloggers, SomethingNavy, wear in the past. The turtleneck body suit with the tweed and detailed skirt give a casual and really cool feel. I especially like the pop of color with the glitter bag (you know I love my glitter pieces).
